Presentations included talks by a serving RAF helicopter pilot (largely on his experiences in Afghanistan) and from an Army anaesthetist (discussing the novel techniques now available for resuscitating soldiers with severe, battle-induced injuries).

The club dinner took place in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (see menu below) and post-prandial entertainment was provided by Graham Jolley - described as a "Psychological Entertainer" but perhaps better understood by the term "mind-reading magician". Several members of the club were persuaded out of their seats to participate in the mind-reading exercises, all of which proved astonishing and baffling, yet hugely entertaining!
