The 1968 BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting took place from 27 to 29 June 1968 at the Dental Hospital, University Hospital of Wales (pictured upper right), Heath Park, Cardiff.

On the evening of Wednesday 26 June, members and their guests were invited to a Reception and buffet supper at Cardiff Castle (pictured lower right), hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of Cardiff.

The topic chosen for discussion on 27 June was "The urethra" and several papers were presented. In the evening, 210 members and their guests attended the Annual Dinner at the Angel Hotel, Cardiff. During the dinner, the St Peter's Medal was presented to Mr Henry Hamilton Stewart.

Short papers were presented on 28 June, and the Urological Prize for 1968 was awarded to Mr NW Struthers for his essay on "The role of manometry in the investigation of pelvi-ureteric function".

In the evening, 91 members and their guests attended an informal dinner at Seabank Hotel, Porthcawl.

Short papers were presented on the morning of 29 June, followed by a visit to the Dialysis and Spina Bifida Units of the Royal Infirmary, Cardiff.
