On behalf of the BAUS Section of SAS and Trust Urologists' Committee, we are thrilled to welcome you all to the BAUS Annual Meeting 2024. This is a special year for us as a newly formed Section, and marks the start of an exciting chapter for SAS and Trust Urologists. We hope to make you all feel welcome and very much an integral part of BAUS and British urology.

Our inaugural session is on Tuesday afternoon when we are excited to meet you all for a wide ranging discussion about the STU journey to date, and the opportunities for us individually and as a group going forwards.

We are grateful for the unwavering and invaluable support of BAUS President Jo Cresswell and Vice President Ian Pearce, who will be joining us to share their perspectives for the Section. We hope to see as many SAS and Trust Urologists, as well as non-STU colleagues and friends, at the session as possible.

We are also excited to be offering a course at BAUS this year to help delegates navigate the Portfolio Pathway. We have enlisted experienced Course Directors and Faculty to help attendees understand the application process and requirements. We will be joined by Justine Royale, Chair of the Urology SAC, to hear the assessor’s perspective of the Portfolio Pathway which will be invaluable for candidates. The course is on Monday afternoon, and places are limited, so register soon to avoid disappointment!

We look forward to meeting old friends and new faces alike, and are very keen to hear your experiences, thoughts and what you would like from the Section. Please feel free to approach any of the Committee during the Meeting to say "hi" and let's see where we can take our new Section together.
