London North is the main residential area for those living within the Greater London boundaries. 62% of the population of London live north of the River Thames.

This highly-populated area of the city includes most of the business and recreational areas of London, including the City, the East End, the West End and is also home to the majority of the TfL Underground network.

London North represents an amalgamation of many famous hospitals, some of which were merged, for administrative purposes, following the 1992 Tomlinson Report. These include University College London Hospital, Charing Cross, St Mary's, the Hammersmith, St Bartholomew's and The Royal London, in addition to many busy (and excellent) general hospitals.
