SAS Surgeons' Development Day (Nov 2022)

The SAS Group hosted their first development day in Birmingham on 19 November 2022, with the event streamed "live" for those who were unable to attend in person. Jo Cresswell flew in from Belfast, after attending the Northern Ireland regional meeting, to join in with proceedings and provide valuable BAUS support.

The debriefing/analysis that will follow this event is intended to set the agenda for the group's strategy over the next year. A photo of the "in-person" attendees is shown below:

SAS FRCS Urol Bootcamp (Sep 2022)

Blackpool Urology hosted the first ever FRCS Urol Bootcamp for SAS Doctors on the 23 September 2022. It was well attended, well organised and ably supported by an expert faculty from across the UK.

The course began with a series of keynote lectures, followed by mock viva sessions.

This pioneering event was very well received, and a much needed education platform for the SAS Urology Doctors.
