The Scotland West region is a geographically large area with beautiful countryside. The region extends from Dumfries and Galloway in the south to Loch Lomond in the north and the Forth Valley in the east. The main focus of the region is, naturally, on Glasgow although the region has many other treats for the visitor, all within easy reach of Glasgow itself.
The area boasts spectacular scenery with superb facilities for outdoor activities including golf, climbing and sailing. It is an exciting and popular region, chosen by many for its rich and varied locations and its quality of life.
Glasgow has a reputation as a vibrant city with nightlife, shopping and other social attractions which have become legendary. From Glasgow, it is only a short drive to the picturesque beauty of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, the Isle of Skye (the Cullins pictured above) and the rugged Ayrshire coast.
