The 1965 BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting took place from 24 to 26 June 1965 at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (pictured upper right), Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.

Other Information

On Wednesday 23 June, members and guests were invited to a Reception at the Royal College of Surgeons, hosted by the President and Council.

After short papers on the morning of 24 June, attendees transferred to the Royal Society of Medicine  for a session entitled "The assessment of renal function tests".

The Annual Dinner was held in the evening at the Royal College of Surgeons, and was attended by 170 members and their guests. During the dinner, the St Peter’s Medal was presented to Mr Arthur Jacobs.

On 25 June, the morning session was devoted to "The cure and control of urinary incontinence (excluding enuresis of childhood)" and the afternoon saw a discussion on "The genetics of intersex".

In the evening, 100 members and their guests attended a ballet performance at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (pictured lower right).

During the final morning (26 June), clinico-pathological demonstrations and discussions were held at Guy's Hospital, the Institute of Urology and The London Hospital.
