FRCS
Victor Dix was a founding member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons and served as President of the Association between 1963 and 1965.
He developed an international reputation for retrograde pyelography and the surgery of hydronephrosis but, sadly, wote and published very little.
He performed "day surgery" under general anaesthetic many years before it was "re-invented" in the 1980s.
