The 1952 BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting was held from 26 to 29 June 1952 at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (pictured upper right), Lincoln's Inn Fields, London and The Royal Society of Medicine, Wimpole Street, London.

Following short papers on the morning of 27 June, the meeting transferred to the Royal Society of Medicine for a session entitled "The treatment of anuria". In the evening, the Annual Dinner was held at the Royal College of Surgeons with 105 members and their guests in attendance.
On 27 June, the focus topic changed to "The late results of uretero-colic anastomosis" and, in the afternoon, operating sessions were held at various London hospitals. In the evening, a buffet-dance was held at the Dorchester Hotel.
The following day, over 150 members and guests were privileged to visit the Houses of Parliament and, later, lo attend a cocktail party at the Middlesex Hospital.
On Sunday 29 June, a party of 60 visited Canterbury Cathedral (pictured lower right) followed by tea and cocktails, courtesy of Mr & Mrs Victor Dix.
