The 1970 BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting took place from 24 to 27 June 1970 at the McCance Building, University of Strathclyde, Richmond Street, Glasgow.
Whilst the "old" university buildings (pictured upper right) are considered very attractive, the buildings added in the 1960s were criticised for giving the campus a "concrete jungle" appearance.
