1997 London

The 1997 Punch Club meeting was hosted by Neil O'Donohue in London. It is believed to be the last meeting hosted by a retiring Consultant Urologist - Punch Club tradition dictated that members hosted the meeting as a "swan song" on their retirement.

The scientific sessions at the meeting took place in the Council Room of the Senate House of University College, Gower Street, London.

The image (above) shows how the entrance to University College London Hospital looks in 2021 - it has changed considerably since the meeting was held in 1997.
