The current Vice Presidents for Education (Joe Philip) and Membership (Iqbal Shergill) are coming to the end of their term of office. Their Deputies Mo Belal (Education) and Shabi Ahmad (Membership) will take over these roles at the AGM in June 2025, so we are now inviting nominations for Deputy Vice President Education & Deputy Vice President Membership.

The successful candidates will hold office as BAUS Trustees for two years as Deputy (June 2025 to June 2027) and will automatically proceed to the Vice President roles for two years from June 2027 to June 2029.

Candidates should note this role requires a quite heavy time commitment.  BAUS Trustees normally meet six times per year (usually 4 face to face and 2 via Zoom) and attendance is expected.  In addition, Trustees attend BAUS Council meetings (usually 3 face to face meetings per year) and will be allocated to a Section Executive Committee who have 2/3 meetings per year which are face to face with Zoom available.
