Fellows will be trained in advanced urodynamics (video, UPP, ambulatory), sacral neuromodulation, male slings / artificial urinary sphincters, bulking injections / autologous fascial slings, vesico-vaginal fistula repair, urethral diverticulum excision, ureteric reconstruction, ileal conduit urinary diversion, Mitrofanoff and augmentation cystoplasty. In addition they will be able to train in dry and wet labs in robotic functional urology. They will be introduced to robotic procedures such as colposuspension, ureteric reconstruction and benign cystectomy and ileal conduit formation. There will be opportunities to join our urogynaecology colleagues in theatre and to participate in joint MDT working and clinics with colorectal, urogyanecology and urology. Training opportunities will also be available in minimally invasive surgeries for BPE including aquablation, HoLEP, Rezum and Urolift. Fellows will be expected to attend refractory OAB clinic, Specialist functional urology clinic and 'one-stop' clinic. There will be time for admin, audit / research built into the programme. Fellows will be part of the on call programme.

It is an expectation that the fellow will be actively involved in audit and research. There is an extensive research programme within the functional urology team at Guy's Hopsital (Mr Sahai / Mr Malde / Mr Solomon). The team have active PhD students and have been involved in ACF and ACL trainees. The team regularly supervise surgical BSc students.
