We have now published data on surgery for female stress urinary incontinence on this website for three consecutive years.

There are a number of surgical options available for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) including insertion of mid-urethral sling tapes, coloposuspension, periurethral bulking agents, autologous sling procedures and artificial urinary sphincters. This audit has included all surgical treatments for both primary and recurrent stress urinary incontinence.  Details of the type and number of operations performed by each surgeon and centre are given. Information about surgeon and unit complication rates and some patient reported outcomes (PROMS) are also published for those Units or Consultants who have submitted follow up data on more than 50% of their cases.
