The cystectomy team consists of 3 consultants dedicated to the management of bladder cancer patients, who commonly operate together, particularly for challenging cases eg advanced stage disease or surgery performed following previous treatment with radiotherapy. Consultant-led post-operative care is also undertaken on an interchangeable basis.
