Personal Statement

Tharani Nitkunan has been a consultant at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust since 2013. She has been clinical lead for the department since 2020 and a member of the Urology Specialty Advisory Committee since 2019. Her subspecialty interests are female and paediatric urology. She delivers a HoLEP service for the network. She was Foundation Year 1 programme director between 2015 to 2019. She was awarded her PhD in prostate cancer molecular biology at University College London in 2010.
