Mr Rochester qualified from Cambridge University in 1998. After surgical training in Oxford, he was awarded an MD degree for prostate research and elected RCS Hunterian Professor. He has subspecialty training in urological cancer surgery for kidney and bladder, and offers robotic surgery for these conditions. He also has expertise in Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) for BPH and has established a day-case service for these patients with over 800 patients now treated, and has driven the use of Urolift for BPH in the UK. He is the clinical director of Urology at NNUH
