The scope of Mr O'Brien's practice in renal cancer is essentially for large or complicated tumours (venous /IVC invasion including cardiac involvement ) in a radical setting, and in the context of nephron sparing surgery he manages anatomically complex cases or redo partial nephrectomies and VHL. Many are tertiary referrals from other centres referred due to complexity. This data includes 15 private cases. This consultant also took part in an additional 18 cases jointly with another consultant.
