BAUS Audit Data for Scotland

Chief Medical Officer, Scotland

BAUS has now collected world-leading data in six national audits and the results have been both published in high-impact publications, and presented on 25 occasions at international meetings.

Unfortunately, Scotland has fallen behind in this data capture process, with recruitment being well below 30%. Because participation in national audits has been made a GMC requirement, as well as an obligation for annual appraisal with revalidation, Dr Catherine Calderwood, Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, has instructed that all urological surgeons practising in Scotland should input their data personally to the six national audits*. A letter to this effect has been circulated to all BAUS members practising in Scotland.

If you require assistance in logging into the BAUS Data & Audit System , please email Louisa Hermans in the BAUS Offices.
